Grauballegaard Biogas is a modern Danish biogas producer dedicated to advancing the green transition through sustainable energy production. Jointly owned by DBC (backed by Jysk Energi, Vestjyllands Andel, and LEF) and local farmer Mads Niær Kristensen, the company operates with a strong focus on minimising local environmental impact and maintaining positive neighbourly relations.
Grauballegaard Biogas produces 6 million m³ of biomethane annually, equivalent to the heating consumption of approximately 2,500 households. By combining modern agricultural integration with energy expertise, Grauballegaard Biogas plays an active role in securing Denmark's energy self-sufficiency while maintaining a strong commitment to the local community.
