Danish District Heating is an industry organization for the more than 370 Danish district heating companies distributed throughout the country, which supply 99.9 per cent of the district heating in Denmark.Danish District Heating is first and foremost an industry organization that fights to promote the conditions of our members - both when it comes to framework conditions, technical solutions, strategic adaptation and development, research, education and networks.
Danish District Heating is working for a sustainable energy supply from district heating and heat pump technologies are an important technology to improve the operation for danish district heating companies and deliver the cheapest heat. When the Danish district heating companies in 2030 are 100 per cent green, they can contribute to delivering a total of 44 per cent of climate target of 70 per cent CO2 reduction in 2030. High temperature heat pumps are considered as a key-enabling technology for expanding the business of Danish district heating companies to supply of industrial process heat.
