First working meeting

Aarhus, Denmark, March 2023

The first working meeting was held on 8 March 2023, and 15 participants from all corners of the industry attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Danish Technological Institute, Aarhus, Denmark.

Aside from administrative issues related to project management, the main aim of this meeting was to give the project participants a chance to present their work and share their current status and updates on the construction of the two high-temperature heat pump plants.

The current status was followed by a discussion and evaluation of the business case. The focus was to identify what makes a good case versus a bad case, and how to spot them in advance.

The last item on the agenda was a visit to the Heat Pump Laboratory at Danish Technological Institute for a guided tour of their new test facilities for large refrigeration plants and high-temperature heat pumps.

The visit was highly insightful and a chance to see firsthand the technology with which the Interheat project will be working when testing the two high-temperature heat pump plants. The Interheat test setup will shortly be installed in the laboratory.
